After traveling to California maybe 50 times in 3 years for Musicmatch in san diego (briefly! we were acquired 3 weeks and 1 day after I started) and mostly to Santa Monica for Yahoo!, I’m finally bringing Dianna out for a visit. We were too busy breeding the past 3 years to swing it. Now that Zoe is 3 and almost a half, and Sage just hit 18 months, it’s more feasible to leave them with the grand parents (in this case, my mom). Not that they aren’t a handful — good luck mom!

With the departure of my long time boss, good friend, and overall kick ass BD Sensei Steve Raymond, the pressure to move is increasing — but so is the opportunity, so I guess the “inevitable” couldn’t have happened at a better time. Still, the notion of losing something I’m passionate about (either my job or my city) leaves me with mixed emotions.

We’ll see how Dianna likes socal. I’m giving it a 50/50 shot as we head to the airport.
