Christmas Tree Decorating
The girls helped us get the tree decorated. We’re going out almost every night to see the neighborhood lights. When we pass a house with lights they yell “CHRISTMAS”! Proof that we have taught them the true meaning of christmas (it’s all about the joules).

Thanksgiving at the farm. You know that that means: mud pies.
The swansons came out to the farm and we had a great time. Let’s do it again next year!
Halloween 2008
We had a low key Halloween, trick-or-treating on our street and consuming mass quantities of chocolate.
Pumpkin Pickin at Grammy’s Farm October 2008
We had an amazing and relaxing time on “Grammy’s Farm” in Round Top, TX in October. The kids picked some pumpkins and we smoked some chickens and sausages.

We had an amazing trip to Newport this year. It was so amazing that we managed to capture the only known photo in the universe where all 4 family members are smiling.
The weather was great, and the kids quickly picked up the beach bum lifestyle, playing in the surf and crashing into the waves. Next year, I bet Zoe is mastering the boogie board.
